Blues and the Goods promoBlues and the Goods. The name says it all. They play the blues, but also a wide selection of practically everything else… what they call the goods: rock, r&b, country, reggae and even jazz. Serving up a funky stew of classic roots music is what they love to do, at every opportunity, at any venue, for anyone who loves great music played well.
The LA-based, six-piece band is made up of: JoJo David, percussion; Ed Gil-Gomez, guitar and vocals; Russell Gremillot, lead vocals and keyboards; Matt “The Reverend” Lavender, harmonica and vocals; Guy Ropella, bass; and Chris Schendel, drums. All are veterans of the LA and NY music scenes, and of numerous bands going back over decades.
Although, as a group, B&TG is relatively new to the circuit, they are hard at work building a solid reputation in Southern California. This eclectic, energetic band knows how to get a crowd moving, pleasing fans with their tight, danceable arrangements of songs old and new, some well known and some off the beaten path.
